YMCA BRIDGES: Before & After School Program
We are excited to introduce you to YMCA BRIDGES: Before & After School Care, a high-quality program dedicated to fostering the growth and development of your children. With a long-standing history of excellence in after-school care, our program is designed to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for your kids.
At YMCA BRIDGES, we believe in the power of a well-rounded approach to child care. Our program includes a variety of activities that cater to different interests and needs:
- Homework Help: We provide dedicated time and support for homework, ensuring that your child has the assistance they need to succeed academically.
- Physical Playtime: Physical activity is a crucial part of our program. We offer plenty of opportunities for kids to engage in active play, promoting physical health and well-being.
- Snack: We understand the importance of nutrition. Our program includes a healthy snack, so your child stays energized and ready to learn and play.

Takena Elementary (Serving Takena, Tangent & Central students)
IMPORTANT UPDATE: We do not currently have enough participants to launch this program on site at Takena Elementary School in September. To be added to a waitlist for our Takena site, please click on the ‘Takena Elementary WAITLIST’ division below and complete your registration. You will be notified if/when this site becomes available for our Bridges program. In the meantime, for other childcare options please see the links below for Before and After School care at the Y:

Registration
Registration is billed on a monthly recurring basis. Once registered, each student’s registration we reoccur monthly throughout the school year, unless canceled. To avoid being charged for the next month, registrations must be canceled before the beginning of the month. Kindly note that no refunds will be issued.
YOU WILL SELECT BEFORE, AFTER, OR BOTH BEFORE AND AFTER PROGRAM, DURING THE FINAL STEP OF REGISTRATION (CHECK OUT).
