Local nonprofit, KinCultivate, is proud to host a special four-part Haitian dance series led by master artist David Durosier at the Mid-Willamette Family YMCA. Rooted in the cultural traditions of Ayiti (Haiti), the series centers on the Ibo rhythm and dance—a powerful celebration of freedom, shaped by African heritage and Haitian history.

David Durosier brings decades of experience as a dancer, educator, and cultural keeper, having taught with the National Dance Company of Haiti and performed internationally. His classes are joyful, inclusive, and movement-based, welcoming people of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds.

This series is an opportunity to connect through movement and deepen our understanding of the African Diaspora’s artistic legacy. All are welcome to join in community, culture, and rhythm. Learn more about guest artist David Durosier at daviddurosier.com
